The Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) was created with the mission to assist low income households in meeting their immediate energy needs, as well as to educate consumers to control energy costs for years to come.
In order to qualify for this benefit program, the applicant must be a resident of the state of Texas.
Those already participating in other benefit programs, such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or certain needs-tested Veterans benefits may be automatically eligible.
