Women In Defense (WID), A National Security Organization/HORIZONS Scholarship
Scholarships awarded to provide financial assistance to further educational objectives of women either currently employed in, or planning careers in, defense or national security arenas (not law enforcement or criminal justice). Must be U.S. citizen. Minimum 3.5 GPA required.
Award Information:
- Award Amount $500 – $10,000
- Application Deadline July 1
- Available to Class Level Juniors, Seniors, Graduate students, Postgraduate students
- Renewable
Eligibility Information:
- Minimum GPA Required 3.5
- Gender Female
- Area of Study Military and Defense Studies
- Financial need analysis is required

Hi, I am looking forward for a scholarship. I am currently enroll at Everest College in Henderson, Nevada. This is my second quarter and i have a 4.00 GPA. What or how can i get more information? I will greatly appreciate it. I am a single mother and a domestic violence survivor. I am working for the organization that helped through getting back on my feet S.A.F.E House Inc. of Nevada. While there, i was able to get my immigration status in order , Just recently i became a U.S citizen.I am working on bring two of my children from Mexico.
