Hope Mission from Edmonton operates the Summer Youth Camp for children ages 6 – 17 coming from low income, single parent, foster and group homes.
The cost is anywhere from $0 to $300 – whatever the family can afford. Camps run in July and August.
Activities include horseback riding, archery, petting zoo, crafts, wagon rides, ropes course, field games, camp outs, and chapels filled with puppets, music, and drama.
The camp is at the Brightwood Ranch, which is located one hour west of Edmonton. The ranch provides free busing from Millwoods and the northeast end of Edmonton to and from the ranch. The child(ren) can also be driven to camp. For more information call 1-866-797-2624.
