I'm a single mother of an eight years old
daughter. This is for all the single
parents who wants the best education
possible for their children but have limited
resources. My daughter is in the
fourth grade and 4th year of boarding
school. You may ask how can I afford
boarding school? Simple, my daughter
is on a full academic scholarship. The
scholarship covers five to seven day
boarding, room & board, uniforms (for school
and after school), activities and trips.
There are two boarding schools providing the
scholarships
Milton Hershey School, Hershey, PA Grades
Pre K-12 Girard College, Philadelphia, PA Grades 1-12
It's not easy making the decision when your
child is only five or six years old, but
putting my personal feelings aside and
considering the boundless opportunities for
my daughter. I do not have any
regrets.
