Easier Cities For Job Hunters CNBC.com - January 4, 2010

Sure the national unemployment rate is 10 percent, but some areas have it better than others - especially these ten cities.

Job search engine Juju.com ranked the cities based on the number of unemployed in a metro area vs. the number of jobs available.

Check out the ten cities where jobs are easier to come by.
10. Austin, Texas - 4.30 Unemployed Per Advertised Job
9. San Antonio, Texas - 3.84 Unemployed Per Advertised Job
8. Denver, Colorado - 3.81 Unemployed Per Advertised Job

Industries That Will GAIN The Most Jobs In Next Decade
Huffington Post - December 31, 2009

We've seen the deterioration of certain industries and massive disruption in employment. But, in the next decade there will certainly be a corresponding expansion in some unexpected areas. Earlier this month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics forecast the industries in which it expects the most job growth over the next decade.
As demographics shift toward an older population and manufacturing jobs in particular dry up, the great bulk of the new jobs - 96% of the increase in new employment - are projected to be created by service industries such as health care services or business services. But there are still a few outliers.
Check out the list below:
